Around 460 members of the public join a Greenpeace rally to demand the Hong Kong SAR government immediately stop the plan of nuclear expansion by 2020. Supporters with yellow ribbons around their wrist marched from the Charter Garden in Central to the Central Government Offices. The participants demands the Environmental Bureau to openly put a stop to the nuclear expansion plan as well as setting up an independent monitoring panel to keep an eye on the safety and management of the Daya Bay nuclear plant.
