Greenpeace Italy activists plant two thousand crosses at the ancient „Circus Maximus” stadium in Rome, to commemorate the 25th Anniversary of the Chernobyl nuclear disaster. The activists also display a huge banner saying „26 aprile 1986 Chernobyl, ancora quanti disastri?” – ” 26th April 1986 Chernobyl, how many more disasters?”. Greenpeace ask the Italian government to stop investing in nuclear energy and support renewable energy.”
